I hope you’re enjoying good weather and smiles. I’m painfully aware that I have been less active on here recently so I wanted to fill you in on how I am doing… and my books.
As I think I’ve explained, I’m quieter than usual because I’m completing my Law degree and training toward becoming a barrister. That’s a lot a hard graft but I will always be an author and I have lots of stories for you… I think my experiences during my degree internally and externally, along with the experiences I’m gaining in the world of Law are giving me plenty of avenues to explore and create new concepts, themes and stories. It’s feeding my creativity and giving me ways to depict new characters so I hope that you’ll agree, it should benefit my work.
That being said, I have been working through re-releasing the Above & Beyond Series and trying to work out all the confusing glitches that my site seems to have developed. Bear with me and I’m always thankful for your views if you spot anything that’s gone awry.
I have rereleased an updated and improved edition of Blind Trust and I will place as many Amazon links as I can down the bottom if you wish to buy it.
As my old publisher disallowed me from continuing to use my original ISBN numbers for the books, if you have enjoyed the series, I would be very grateful if you could add your original reviews as I’m starting all over again. If you have Kindle Unlimited, I’ve registered all Aeron’s series on this so that there is more access. However, I declined to put it into libraries etc. merely because the price doubled and that is not fair to readers. If you have reviewed Aeron’s series externally, I’d be very grateful if you could update your site to the new links so readers know where to find Aeron.
As it’s going to take me a fair while to get through the whole series and re-edit and improve them, I’ll be putting up the original versions so that newer readers can buy the series. That being said, the newer versions will be much improved so I hope you’ll enjoy them. I’ve also designed the covers of the new versions to be more collectable and look more cohesive on the shelf.
The New Covers
The newer versions have covers designed and graphically drawn by me (it takes a while with dodgy eyes but hey!) Over time, I’ve learned more about how I want Aeron’s stories to appear and what I personally feel works as a visual representation of her. However, the hands are the ever present symbol that the story is Aeron’s (but those hands are now my own). I know there is a great deal of opinion about what makes a good cover but I want something I can be proud of which represents the love and hard work I’ve ploughed into our Little Missourian.
You can find Blind Trust on the below links. If your country isn’t listed (Sorry!) but you can type in my name on Amazon and Blind Trust and you’ll see the cover below which is the new version!
Other Up and Coming Works
I am going to release a book later this year which is a novel I’ve been working on for nearly eight years. It is a project that is dear to my heart and a story I’m itching for you to read. I will update you more as I work on it (around studying and managing myself and Ferb).
I am working on other projects, one may be due for release next summer. I am also tempted to write a follow up to Hayefield Manor as I enjoyed hanging out with Morgan and Sophie so much so I’m unsure.
I also am noticing that lots of you seem to want more Aeron… so I’m thinking about it. I’m always happy to hear your thoughts!
Update on Ferb
I have mentioned on Social Media, but in case you haven’t seen, little Ferb has been through a bit of a rough time. He has had is first operation on his cruciate ligament which had snapped so had to have plates put in. In his wisdom, Ferb decided that he would remove his own stitches and gave himself an infection so is hopped up on antibiotics and feeling very sorry for himself. It’s a long recovery for him and, bless him, when he’s healed on that side, he has to have the other one done!
So, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Have a great weekend,
