Hey there, It feels like I haven’t written any updates for you in ages as things have been tough health-wise recently. I seem to say this often but I didn’t think that I’d make it up to Hebden Bridge a few times because I was struggling. With a dodgy eye, heart and various other problems starting to feel insurmountable, I…
I have been fighting to get fit enough to be at both LFEST and Hebden Bridge but I’m still having some visual issues. I will do a Vlog to update you soon but for now I hope to catch you at Happy Valley Pride (I’ve even worked hard on a video promo for you – please feel free to share.)
In other news, we are fighting hard to get medical help from an amazing doctor in London who is a leading expert and thinks he can help… only our delightful Welsh Government declined a funding application from consultants on my behalf… so I’ll be working extra hard to pen some books to fund the trip myself… It’s a step back but Ferb is on the case!
(check out https://jodyklaire.com/2016/11/07/patients-plea/ if you want to know a little about my battle against medical professionals.)
I’m still smiling and I’ll have a brand new cover of Hayefield Manor for you and the blurb very soon! I’ll also be on the GCLS Writing Academy Blog chatting about my writing and going from mentee to mentor.
I hope you have a great week and hope to catch you in Hebden. I’ll do my best to get some fun pictures and videos for those who can’t be there!
Hello! Ferb and I were thinking about how we could celebrate Christmas with you. Normally we would put up the books for free over the holiday but as I have tried and failed to figure out how to do that without being on Kindle Unlimited… So… we’ve come up with a furry plan… So – all the self-published books:…
Hey there, As I said in the previous blog Doodling, I was asked what Aeron looked like and if I’d do some concept art for her. I was also asked if I could produce a picture with both Aeron and Renee… so I did. I also thought I’d do some quotes about them and by them to celebrate those of you who…
I’ve been a bit under the weather at the moment so writing is on a go slow… but I was talking to a lovely reader recently and she wondered if I’d ever drawn Aeron’s face. My answer was that I’d tried but Aeron doesn’t really like to be drawn and tends to go wrong. I keep trying and I know…
Hey! I’m in the midst of writing at the moment on several different projects, editing, and racking up hospital miles but wanted to drop in and say hi. Whatever I’m writing, it teaches me something new and the experiences day to day seem to filter into the book. With Aeron’s series, I talk about captivity and slavery often. It’s a…
Hey! Well, if any of you are in Bristol for the ELLCON, then you will be able to catch Ferb, Em and I causing chaos. The lovely ELLCON team decided to plough through my books to see if they were any good which you can see, here… ELLCON BLOG They rugby-tackled me (ankle tap to be exact) to ask me…
Hey! I wanted to do something a bit different to celebrate love. I wanted to share my love for writing and my characters. So, I’ve taken you on a journey, from my first characters in a romance, Alina and Frauke, to Aeron, Pippa, Mable, Prince Raph and more. These little snippets of stories from characters you know and those new…
In my flu-bitten state over Christmas I forgot to share the review of Noble Heart for you. It’s wonderful to see how everyone enjoying it and cheering Aeron on. 🙂
Book five of the epic Above and Beyond Series and this is the best yet. It’s sometimes hard to find new things to say about a series, but this one continues to go from strength to strength.
In Noble Heart we find the usual cast led by Aeron Lorelei, Commander Renee Black and General Ursula Frei, along with regulars like Nan and Jessie, on another thrilling adventure.
This plot is extremely fast paced, action packed and takes some keeping up with. As the series progresses it seems to become more complex, which is hard to imagine but nevertheless true. Despite the almost frenetic pace Klaire fits in moments of stillness and quiet personal interactions which ground and solidify the whole, bringing ever more depth and development to what are already extra-ordinarily well-developed characters.
If you’d like to know more… read on below!
Aeron fills my heart writing her, so I hope she lifts yours as you cheer her on. #TeamAeron!
Hi Guys, Well, I’ll make this a quick one… Noble Heart is out now! Hurray! Big Smiles,
